Ski mountaineering will take over from the World Cup event held in the Andorran ski resort of Pal Arinsal. The mixed relay event replaced the mythical vertical. This discipline will be Olympic for the first time at the Milan-Cortina d'Ampezzo Winter Games in 2026.
