TrailCat the Race 300 miles

In sports, challenges must constantly be overcome in order to achieve glory. Some are easier than others, and then there are those from another galaxy altogether, like the gift that the organizers of Trail Cat The Race have prepared to celebrate its fifth anniversary. 300 miles — or roughly 460 kilometers — crossing Andorra, France, and Catalonia from north to south, passing through more than ten regions and finishing in the city of Tarragona.

A race suitable for only a select few runners with an exceptional capacity for endurance, not only physically but mentally as well. The start will take place on October 11 in Andorra la Vella, heading towards the French Cerdanya before crossing the whole of Catalonia towards the vastness of the sea.

Runners will have six days to complete the route, meaning a maximum of 152 hours, although the organization expects the first participants could complete the 300 miles in 70 to 75 hours.

The route is one of the best-kept secrets in order to build anticipation and avoid revealing the hidden corners the race will pass through. It will only be unveiled one week beforehand in GPS track format, although a few details can already be shared.
